From circa 1923-25 (pre Conn) Leedy Elite was a quality built snare drum that was very strong and well engineered with its double bead of rolled Nickel over brass.

The earlier two point lugs are showing signs of surface rust and one of the rods is unoriginal , the double fanged Leedy hoops and clips may or may not be original to this drum but think they are due to being an earlier drum. Fully working Presto strainer that holds under tension. I’ve just added a new bottom head and wires. In round with no major dents.

Great sounding full bodied but sensitive brass shell that works great a low volume but cuts at high.
