1930s  Carlton “Standard” Snare 14” x 6.5”

A heavy chrome over brass snare.  Slotted key rods top and bottom.

The drum is in good shape. Sounds absolutely fantastic and would give any American drum from the same period a run for its money.

This drum unfortunately suffered extra holes after a premier strainer was  fitted, there are small dents scratches and bumps otherwise known as mojo.

The drum comes with die cast Carlton hoops off a later 40s or 50s snare and also the original double flanged hoops with clips.

One of the very best sounding vintage chrome over brass snares, a massive fat crack with controlled brass overtones and very sensitive.
