Gretsch snare drum from the 40/50’s. Size- 6.5 x 14 with 8  lugs. . 3 ply maple shell. This is a very different shell type with a clear maple interior and thick re-rings, micro-sensitive strainer and butt plate work great, (two small holes, see pic).  Shell is perfectly in round but a bit of wear on the chrome plating. Original early die cast hoops. Normal wear on the WMP covering.  Pics tell the story.  Sounds amazing. had many compliments on the sound of this one, dry woody/throaty and non boxy.
