4 Piece factory matched Gretsch set from 1946, this is one of my all time favourite sets that I’ve played.
The sizes are 24 x 14 bass 12 x 8 tom 16 x 16 tom and a 14 x 6.5 snare. You have to hear to believe how good it sounds. The bass is massive but controlled, fat toms and a phenomenal snare that could be used for almost anything.These are the really early thicker Gretsch made 2 and 3 ply shells.
At some point a rail mount was fitted and there is some black marks inside the bass drum all of which is cosmetic. In great condition for 71 years old but does have some rusting and dullness to the metal wear. A mega mojo rocket lug set that is near impossible to find with matching snare.
