Here is a beautiful and clean players grade Gretsch kit from the 1950s. The virgin 22″ bass drum has a huge warm 3 ply sound.The inside of the 13 and 16 have both been repainted a dark grey colour and there are two small filled holes (Unseen under the diamond clip plate), original stick chopper hoops on the 13″ but generic on the 16″. Round dial mufflers (early single felt version on the 13″). The 16″ floor sports Gladstone leg mounts, very cool and the low mass design really helps with resonance. The 16″ was added with the other two drums at a slightly later date, all drums are 1950s.
A fantastic players kit at lower money.
