Early 1940s Slingerland RK Cloud badge set 26×14 14×12 16×16 No extra holes!
A great opportunity for someone to fix up or leave as is. At some time in the past some has repainted the entire set in a duco finish, although it looks good from a few feet away the paint job is a little rougher than factory and not quite the correct shade of gold. The badge has never been off (grommet is un touched) there is a small area were you can see the maple around it from when it was masked, this makes me believe that it never had wrap and was probably a painted finish from new.
Very nice wooden hoops all round, the toms still have the original BDP inlay stapled in place. The metal work is great, the cigar lugs are beautiful and crack free, all metal parts look to have been tumbled and are free of rust. The hoop claws on the toms are original apart from one and all bass drum Ts and claws are period correct but not Slingerland. The 16″ comes with no leg mounts but a tom basket, that in itself is a hard item to find. Bassdrum clip on spurs are not included in the sale.
