Mid to late 60s Gretsch set in Gold Satin flame, 22/13/16  with factory matched Snare 14 x 5.5

Although its common for scratching and spider webbing on flame finishes this set is definitely  one of the better ones I’ve seen and overall the wrap is really nice, all the seams are tight and all edges true and chip free.The metal is in great uncleaned condition and would shine with a bit of detailing. The Gretsch bass drum head is original as is the 16″ batter head.

The snare is in beautiful condition also and has the bonus of its intact 42 strand Gretsch wires, original 60s key and a fully working strainer.

Not only great looking under lights it sounds great too, the toms really sing and the snare has a responsive wide tuning range.
