1930’s Slingerland Radio King Gene Kupra Model 14×6.5

First introduced in the second half of the the 1930’s, the Gene Kupra snare was only available in one colour (WMP) and only in one depth of 6.5. These are considered to be some of the most collectable single ply Radio Kings out there. The drum is complete with no missing parts of the strainer and both adjustable extension brackets are there, The wrap is yellowed and unfortunately there are two extra holes under the strainer (see pic) not noticeable as under the strainer, The bottom re-ring looks to have been glued in the past. Modern heads fit but are tight, A great players snare at a good price.
