This is number 92 of 100 made in 1984, although there may be a handful more. Same spun shell as the 70s and early 80s Black beauties. The shell looks beautiful with the floral engraving but has signs of lacquer wear that has tarnished in areas. The hoops have been changed out for die cast and the SS snare guards are missing (easy to find). The mechanism works great.
Sounds unreal! Great drum for brushes or heavy back-beat playing.
